Having worked in digital marketing for over 7 years, I built my first website at aged 9 before building my first online store at 13. I've always had an entrepreneurial mindset and decided to build an online clothing store dropshipping from various suppliers. However, being at school full-time and working in a family business in the evenings - I never had chance to make a good go of it. So I began to build websites for fun! My passion is growing businesses, and having a good website is imperative to growing a customer base in the digital age.

Latest Website Project
Smye-Rumsby were looking for a complete refresh of their brand. I created two websites for them, their main business website as well as the online store you see here, click to open the full image.
We tested the waters with the online store by launching an eBay store with a small selection of products. After reaching a target of £25,000 in eBay sales in 90 days, we decided that an online store would be more viable due the eBay fees cutting into profits significantly.
I designed and built the online store, adding over 300 popular products and a great search function to allow Smye-Rumsby to reach more customers - without the hefty eBay fees.
Upon launch, we received around £11,000 in sales in 6 weeks after spending £120 on Google Ads. This was significantly less than the eBay fees we would have been charged for the sales - making it a more profitable venture for Smye-Rumsby. The website has also been a good place for lead generation for marine electronics fitting work - generating more sales for the business.
A large part of the marketing strategy for Smye-Rumsby has also been Search Engine Optimization. Google regularly changes their algorithm and requires regular attention to ensure the business ranks effectively. This is by means of content creation, as well as technical aspects of the website itself. I provide and implement specific SEO recommendations to optimize their website for search engines. Another aspect to ensure a good ranking is creating high-quality blog content that will help position Smye-Rumsby as a leader. The main purpose of this is to bring in more search engine traffic, but it can also help drive social media traffic and ultimately, generate leads for the business.
