Why I Love Facebook For Businesses
Facebook is the largest Social Media platform in the world, with over 2 BILLION active users!
That’s millions of potential people to connect with.
Millions of your target market in one place…
Millions accessible at the click of a few buttons.
…Yet many business still aren’t taking it seriously.
They’re not focusing on it, they don’t see a need for it. They don’t see the power.
Boy could you be more wrong…

Facebook is somewhere you can connect with your audience anytime, any place, right at their fingertips.
Your brand can be put in front of them at a time they need it most, when they are in need of your product or service.
But rather than going on a rant on how amazing Facebook is… I will give you an overview of my top reasons of why I’m focusing more on learning Facebook inside out as opposed to any other Social Media platform.
Their Targeting Is Unreal
Facebook is able to know the behaviour, interests and demographics of it’s users not just because of their activity on the platform, but because of their activity on other websites too.
Millions of website have the Facebook pixel installed, which is a snippet of code which tracks users on sites to optimise adverts.
This allows Facebook to gather an enormous amount of data about it’s users, without them having to fill out their profile lots. This means that the data is as accurate as it gets.
They Are Forever Rolling Out New Features For Advertisers
Although I often get irritated at the ever-changing business manager, my joy at the updates far outweigh my irritation.
In the past few weeks alone two massive updates have been revealed and they are already looking to be a gamechanger for various industries.
For instance, Dynamic Ads are now going to be available for Real Estate agents. This means that agents can now advertise listings straight through to Facebook or Instagram by integrating with the brokers database. Facebook will then display ads related to the property the prospects search history – how cool!
I am looking forward to how this could advance in the automotive sales industry and more.
They Are Forever Innovating
That’s the one thing I like about good ol’ Zucks, he’s always staying ahead of the game. Well, with that amount of data about your users you can’t really not be!
Facebook is developing a video hub to rival Youtube and traditional TV! On their new app called Watch, they will be showing well… shows in episodic format along with advertising breaks (like traditional TV).
Okay, well that doesn’t sound too great now, but imagine a world where all TV was moved to Facebook. Corrie being streamed instead of watched live at 7:30pm (sorry guys, ruining your schedule!). TV anytime, any where. But still with ADS! 😀
Ad breaks are also being tested for live videos too, though it is unsure whether these will be released across the board..
Imagine the potential that this all could have.
I can’t be the only one fangirling about this right now can I?
