What Is Facebook Pixel & How Does It Benefit You
This is probably one of the most common things questions I get when enrolling a new client into Facebook Marketing.. and it’s a good’un.
It is a goldmine for your business online. I’m not even kidding!
It is similar to what you know as a pixel, a tiny area that’s illuminated on your screen that makes a bigger picture (your screen is separated into tiny pixels).
The Facebook Pixel is a snippet of code inserted into the appropriate area of your website and it tracks the visitors to your website.
In short, it’s a goldmine.. but let me explain.
What this means is, if somebody clicks onto your website and doesn’t make a purchase or the desired action, you can retarget them with ads to encourage them to take the action.
But it doesn’t stop there..
Remember clicking on that thing on Amazon and it followed you everywhere on Facebook afterwards?
If a visitor clicks on a specific product page, you can retarget them with an ad to your product. Clearly they were interested in the product else they wouldn’t have clicked on it, so by showing them an ad with the benefits of said product could be the push the need to buy.
But wait, there’s still more!!
Once you have enough data of visitors to your site, leads, purchases etc… you can create a lookalike audience.
This means that you can create an audience to target your ads to that matches the interests of your current leads or purchases.
Pretty cool right?
It can save a lot of fiddling in Ads manager and significantly reduce your Facebook Marketing cost.
If you’ve not got your Facebook Pixel installed on your website or landing pages, you are missing out BIG TIME.
